Kitchen Things That Bug Me - Part 3

I've saved the most important thing about the kitchen that bugs me for last. It's called the trash can. Now there are many trash cans in my house but only this kitchen can truly bugs me. I don't understand. Every day my human (usually the boy human after the girl human hollers at him) comes into the kitchen and takes this trash can out. He removes the white bag inside and takes it away never to be seen again. Then they put an empty bag in and we start over the next day. The disturbing and distressing part of this story is that when the boy takes away this bag from the trash can it is usually filled with great and glorious food. It all is so cunfoosing. Where does all this great and glorious food go? Why are they taking it away? Every day I try to understand. I just do not. Now I do not speak human so sometimes it is hard to camoonicate, but I try every day to make it clear that I would like to have this bag instead of it going away never to be seen again. So far my humans don't seem to be understanding. I will continue to try........

Kitchen Things That Bug Me - PART 2

Now that my snow is gone I'm back to my thoughts on things that bug me. Focusing on the kitchen still, things that bug me #2 is this useless and worthless bad silver box called the dishwasher. Now unlike my great and glorious silver box in the corner that holds all the tasty foods, this bad silver box diswasher just destroys the tasty foods. Here's what I see......My humans use things called dishes to make the tasty foods, and then they set the tasty foods on more dishes so they can be eaten. My "cunfoosin" begins with the fact that my humans don't clean their plates of every tasty morsel of great and glorious food. So because they aren't thorough they have to put these dishes in this box called the dishwasher. They turn this box on and a little while later these dishes are all sparkling clean and the tasty morsels of food that used to be there are gone. First of all what a radickalus waste of tasty foods. But the bigger question is why can I not have this job as the dishwasher? I promise I would be just as thorough and use less water and electricity. I often try to show my humans that I can do the job by demonstrating but this usually just gets me yelled at. I don't understand. Why do my humans waste the food? Why cannot I be the dishwasher? At the very least why cannot I help the dishwasher? Just more questions that I ponder...........

SNOW-SNOW-SNOW....

I must interrupt my postings about kitchen things that bug me because a special event has happened here at my home in Georgia. It is SNOW!!! Now apparently this does not happen much here so it is all very exciting. At first I did not think I was interested in this snow because frankly it was all a little strange. But I had no choice but to go outside because I had to make the pee-pee. Once I got out there and investigated I decided this snow was very fun. It's fun to chase. It's fun to run and slide in. It's fun to eat, both off the ground and to try to catch it out of the air. In fact it kinda reminds me of my fun bubble machine that I play with - only these are cold little bubbles. My humans throwed these "snowballs" at me that were very fun. I tried to catch this snowball and then I tried to play with this snowball and then I just decided to eat it. After I warm back up I might go back out and play some more in this great and glorious snow.......

KITCHEN THINGS THAT BUG ME - PART 1

Recently I have noticed there are many things that bother me, many things that I am "cunfoosed" about. So I thought I would share them here. Since my favorite room in all the rooms in the house is the kitchen I thought I would start there. So we will start with the giant silver box in the corner. My humans call it the frigerator. I call it the great and glorious silver box. I call it that because it holds all the tasty foods. However, part of the great and glorious box is also called the freezer. Now I don't understand this freezer. If cunfooses me. All the tasty food in the freezer is frozen. How are you supposed to eat it when it is frozen. It's hard to chew on. It's super duper cold (and us puggies aren't real fond of the cold). To make matters worse our great and glorious box has this bad freezer part on the bottom. Now I know my dogtor says I'm "too big" but really I'm just a little guy and I cannot reach up high to the good part of the great and glorious box. Why do we have this freezer? Why does this freezer have to be on the bottom? These are but two of the questions I ponder.......

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well yesterday was the Happy New Year Day. I'm not really sure what that means but here's what I did. The old man and the old lady came over to get me, my white floofy dog and the lady. Then we went to this really fun place called Stone Mountain Park. It is a great and glorious park. We ride in our car over this kinda scary old bridge and then we are on this big island in the middle of the lake. This is where it gets really fun.....We get out and get to walk around the whole island (walking makes my dogtor happy). There are lots of trees and bushes to make the pee-pee on and they even have a little rack of bags for my humans to pick up my boo-boo with. There are ducks and gooses and birds and squirrels and fishies in the water. (The water is wayyyyy to cold for me but for some reason my white floofy dog seems to like this temperature and he goes swimming but I put my little paw in to test it and personally I think he's a crazy floofy dog.) But it is all so wondermous. I don't think that's the Happy New Year though because my humans said we were going back in two days....and that's very 'citing. So the Happy New Year must be what we did next. We all went back to our house and laid in the living room watching the TV and something called football. Now I don't understand this football so I decided to sleep most of the time but this football has lots of whistles so I had to do some barking at that old television. I was pretty tired from my walking at the park so I didn't mind this Happy New Year but I think I prefer the Merry Christmas.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Oh what a great and glorious day it was. It was "Merry Christmas" and while I'm not sure exactly what it means I do like that phrase because the "Merry Christmas" day was all that every day should be. First thing this morning I went on a car ride. I love the car ride. The car ride went to the old-man and old-lady's house which is always one of my favorite activities. But this time at the old-man and old-lady's they said it was time to open the presents under the tree. This activity is most enjoyable. There were lots of presents for me and my white floofy dog. We would run from person to person, depending on who was opening the present, in the hopes that it was for us. Lo and behold several of them were. There were toys and toys, squeaky ones and ones that make the strange scary sound and chewy ones. And of course there were tasty treats in some of the presents. Now I tried to tell my humans that my dogtor lady said too many treats were bad but it was "Merry Christmas" which I guess means we don't pay attention to that dogtor lady and there were treats everywhere.....so tasty. After a fun filled morning we went back to our own house where I had to take the nap and then the fun started again!!!!!!!!! The old-man and old-lady came to our house this time. They took me and the white floofy dog on the walk so we could make the big boo-boo like good boys. Then it was time for dinner. We had stupid ole stupid kibble but all my humans were cooking meat and cheese and vegetables on a little indoor grill and after I looked real sad they gave me a taste or two, again saying it is that "Merry Christmas". Now I really like that phrase. However, the old-lady started telling me that tomorrow I had to be on the diet. I don't know that word diet but I think the dogtor lady said it too so I'm a little worried. But I'll think about it later because today is the "Merry Christmas" and it's been about the best day ever. Hope yours was too!

HO-HO-HO

Well it's that time of year again. About this time every year my girl dresses me up in somethin' "radicalus" and takes our picture. She says it's for her Christmas card but I mean really......How come I don't get to wear a nice sweater and she has to wear the silly hat and beard? She seems to be forgettin' who is most important. The good part though is normally shortly after I have to take the often humiliating picture I get to open presents that are sitting under a tree in the house....yes I said a tree in the house.......and lots of times some of those presents have tasty treats. So for tasty treats I guess I can suffer through a picture or two with some silly hat.
